Ladies Music Pub

ART DIRECTION / GRAPHIC DESIGN / ILLUSTRATION / WEB DESIGN / WEB DEVELOPMENT

London-based grassroots record label and collective, Ladies Music Pub (LMP) have supported women and gender minorities in the music industry for over a decade. While much of their regular communications rely on social media, they wanted a website to act primarily as a resources page, and to broaden their reach beyond an existing bubble.

It was important to the client that the website retained the lo-fi, DIY ethos of the organisation. We achieved this through the use of collage, illustration, and analogue textures, reminiscent of zines and self-published material.

Taking the existing LMP banner and early fliers as a starting point, I worked closely with members to create a joyful and defiant visual identity that communicates the passion behind the project.
